WellSim Control Stations trial in LUKOIL-Komi is successfully accomplished.
The test of 6 WellSim Control Stations in LUKOIL-Komi began in November 2015 and ended in August 2016. Final report was issued where it is stated that:
- energy efficiency of the system is proved: energy savings are fixed at the level of 67%.
- system showed its efficiency in optimization of SRP running mode.
- WellSim controller is proved to be used as production measuring unit. The difference in measured production between WellSim and reference measuring system was 2.4 - 4.2%, that is within declared figures.
According to test results it is recommended to install WellSim Control Stations to increase energy efficiency of SRPs, to place it on the wells where optimization of SRP running mode is required and to use WellSim as production measuring device.
