The test program included four key evaluation criteria:
• Extension of the maintenance interval for well equipment
• Reduction of energy consumption
• Maintaining or increasing production levels
• Verification that the production rate calculated by the controller matches actual production data
The following results were achieved during the trial:
• It is currently too early to fully evaluate the extension of maintenance intervals, as the WellSim Control Stations have been in operation for a relatively short period of time
• For most wells, a reduction in specific energy consumption ranging from 20.8% to 67.55% was recorded
• Additional oil production of 2.2 tons per 24 hours was achieved on 3 out of 6 wells
• At the time of testing, metrological calibration had not yet been completed at the wells, therefore the production rate calculated by the controller could not yet be fully compared with actual production values
According to the calculated technical and economic performance indicators, the total economic benefit from deploying WellSim Control Stations at six wells is estimated at 10.999 million rubles per year, with a payback period of 0.23 years (approximately 2.7 months).
